Malicorp is a Community Based Waiver provider for supervised independent living as an alternative to institutional care for persons who have developmental disabilities.

 

The vision for our program is to deliver a service that provides Louisiana's citizens with developmental disabilities the opportunities to shape their lives by means of individual choices.

 

 

 

When the time is right to teach your loved one to fly on his own and leave the nest, we are there to help. Let this be the next step for them when they no longer require the total supervision that a group home or institution offers.

 

The services offered by Malicorp Home Health Care Division provide each tenant with the care and training to aid them in acquiring the independence and survival skills they need to care for themselves.

 

The program is implemented by highly trained staff who provide an atmosphere of acceptance, guidance and care. The staff also serve as positive role models, which aid in accomplishing life-coping skills, internalization of worthy values, and development of a positive self-image, regardless of the length the service is provided.
